Closing Spaces with Bonding
Contact Us Today!Bonding can be used to close spaces between teeth. A space between two front teeth is called a diastema. These spaces tend to be acquired genetically. Even after orthodontic closure, these spaces may re-open.
Closing diastemas is a great use of enamel bonding. The procedure is completed in a single appointment, without anesthesia.Little or no preparation is necessary on the teeth. While a central diastema is the most common application for bonding to close spaces, the procedure can be applied in a number of locations in the smile zone.
Dark triangles between teeth at the gum line can occur with gum recession. Bonding may be possible in this circumstance to improve appearance and reduce areas for food entrapment.
It was great. Each staff member greeted me and they walked me through the whole office. I highly recommend Studio Dentistry. They are great!!
